Martina Drassl was born in South Tyrol, Northern Italy. She has been deeply connected to Peru for the past ten years, living and working both in the Andes and the Amazon since 2005. In the Andes, Martina is the coordinator of Sembradores Huaraz, an NGO in Huarez, Peru that provides support to children, youth, and people with disabilities. Sembradores collaborates with the population it serves with equality and respect, helping to inspire motivation, and provide project opportunities sustainably and non-invasively.
In the Amazon, Martina has been studying and working with plant medicine in the Shipibo tradition for past five years and apprenticing under Master Shaman Ricardo Amaringo. She shares her time between Sembradores Huaraz and Nihue Rao Centro Espiritual in the jungle outside of Iquitos, Peru, where she assists in the administration of the center and interfaces with seekers and travelers who come for healing. Martina is fluent in Italian, Spanish, German and English and brings her multicultural perspective to our growing global community of people seeking plant medicine experiences.
